Dr. Muhammad A.S. Hikam, APU (lahir di Tuban, Jawa Timur, 26 April 1958; umur 56 tahun) adalah Menteri Negara Riset dan Teknologi pada Kabinet Persatuan Nasional. Ia meraih gelar sarjana pada tahun 1981 dari Universitas Gadjah Mada dan gelar doktor dari Universitas Honolulu pada tahun 1995. Sebelum ditunjuk menjadi menteri, ia adalah peneliti di Lembaga Ilmu Pengetahuan Indonesia (LIPI).
